Here Be Stories That Value Your Time
Meet The Author!
Cameron Skocilic
As a kid, I was always getting lost in one imaginary world or another. Fantasy was my escape whenever I needed to take a break, and even back then I like sharing my fantasies with others.
Your time is valuable, so why let someone waste it? I write stories that aim to provide heartfelt, fulfilling stories that don’t force readers to choose between fun, entertaining escapism and stories that make you think.
When I’m not writing, you can usually find me in the board game isle feeding my TCG addiction or ranting about bad movies and the lessons I’ve learned from their mistakes.
Your Time is Valuable
Why Let Someone Waste It?
The internet is teeming with life.
Everywhere you look, you can find easy, escapist entertainment to lose yourself in. Having a bad day? Hop on to one of countless apps or sites and forget about your worries for a little while.
But not all escapes are made equal.
From social media scrolling to the infamous streaming wars, it feels like everything wants your attention, but often they aren’t willing to put in the effort on what they offer. Many outlets have fallen into the habit of “content for content’s sake” – pushing out mediocre quality product just to keep you the consumer stimulated. Like a bag of potato chips, it isn’t going to satisfy you in the long run.
I want to offer that much needed middle ground that continues to vanish day by day. Satisfying stories that immerse you – fantastical worlds and heartfelt, relatable characters – all without demanding that you turn your brain off to enjoy it.
I want to offer you an escape, but I don’t want to leave you feeling just as tired as when you sought relief. I want this to be a place where you can find not only enjoyment and distraction, but some much needed peace and relief.
